closer to the seven minute mile...

today I ran the 'run for central park' 4 miler, finishing in 28:44, running 7:11 minute miles, a personal best. I finished 632 out of 4607, 39 of the 1290 in my age group (20-29) and 109 out of the 2281 women. It was very, very hot and humid today, but I felt great. thanks to ana, amy and michael b for comin' out to cheer.
