the universal gets more... universal.

someone who looks at my blog regularly (thank you!!) told me he has always secretly wished I would blog my life. i told him that it would end up being boring and no one would read it. or they might just think my head was full of air, as it would only ever be about sports, cats, cupcakes and boys. and even then only on a superficial level (on already superficial topics).

i love reading blogs... blogs of people i know... blogs of strangers... the more personal information the better. i even read the blogs of people i don't like because i am obsessed with the trials and tribulations of others. that said, i would never blog my own.

but for the sake of my faithful blog looker, i am going to add a more personal touch to this blog...

today i was feeling generally lethargic... but then i saw this photo (thanks kickette!) and suddenly everything was ok. in it, a couple of people my life just wouldn't be the same without: (from left to right,) iker casillas, raul gonzalez, rafa nadal, sergio ramos and of course, becks. (for those of you who don't know, that's the best of real madrid, the number one tennis player in the world... and, arguably, the number one human brand in the world.)
