watching people compete in especially physically taxing sports makes me cry. there is something so amazing about pushing the body and the mind to such limits... whenever i watch the iron man competition on tv, i bawl my eyes out. and that's just tv, so you can imagine how the waterworks were flowing as i watched/cheered on this year's ING NYC marathon runners in brooklyn today. everyone was amazing... the runners, the supporters... it was so beautiful to watch so many people supporting so many runners.
and it made me very excited to run in 2009!
