2009: stoked on it.

though 2008 was a generally rough year, there were a lot of good moments and i met a lot of amazing people. that said, it feels good to leave it behind and start fresh in a new year.

last night when the clock struck midnight, i was overwhelmed with optimism and hope for 2009... it helped that i was surrounded by so many friends (and received a record amount of nye kisses)...

but yeah, i am totally stoked on 2009, and i think it is going to be a great, great year. i have already spent the beginnings of it with the people i love the most and it can only get better (or remain as great) from here.

thanks to all my loves for coming out to our party last night, even though it was really cold outside. i am very, very happy and very, very thankful to have you all in my life. xo

ps. i'm glad i got to wear the double zero glasses one last time...
