tonight ashley and i went to the lana santorelli gallery to check out the "thaw" exhibition. there were several beautiful pieces and a few clever ones.
the most beautiful works, i thought, were the acrylic on mylar paintings by ha rhin kim, (a section shown above).
one of my other favourites, and one of the most clever, was a piece by lisa dillin called, "deer boot advertisement."

Maybe I'm crazy, but I think that woman looks a little like me. I don't have such amazing boots though...
