today i ran the scotland run 10k race in central park. there were far too many runners... 7603... in which i came in 1457. (...206 out of the 3584 women and 72 out of the 1866 in my age group.) the rain and wind made me want to stop running by the 4th mile and the course seemed a never ending incline. the only reason i finished in a somewhat timely manner was because i didn't want to leave gregory and alexis waiting at the finish for too long. (thank you guys again for coming! especially in such yucky weather.)
so far this running year hasn't gotten off to the greatest start...
