i work in forest hills, queens. i've never been very fond of queens, but forest hills has kind of, almost (but not quite) changed that. parts of the neighborhood are some of the most beautiful i have seen in nyc. in fact, at times it's hard to believe it is anywhere near a metro area... quaint, yet sprawling homes... lush, private yards and gardens... and hints of fresh, fresh air... if i weren't so attached to (and in love with) manhattan, i just might consider living there. (oh yeah, and if i had a lot more money, 'cause it doesn't look like it comes cheap.)
