pecker.

now, i have to preface this by saying, like most new yorkers, i don't get excited by celebrities/celebrity sightings... they are just people with high profile jobs. i think the only time i have gotten overly excited in the presence of celebrity was when i met damon albarn. (obviously!) so, that said, i was unprepared for the fierce blush and heart rate raise when i glimpsed edward furlong at comic con. when i was younger, edward furlong and jonathan brandis could do no wrong; my wall was covered with their teen beat images and their names were etched on my little third grade heart. so yeah... i was excited when i saw him through the crowd. i think i squealed a little bit... and then i went over and said hello. i am not really a terminator fan, so i glossed that over and told him how much i loved pecker and what a lovely actor he was. he looked a little worse for wear and a little... um... dazed... but he was very gracious and sweet. his agent would not allow any photos without paying a $45 fee, so i had to go without. (i will not pay 45 dollars to have my photo taken with another human being... it's kind of ridiculous.)

anyway, yeah. edward furlong. thank you for being such a nice guy.
