before my race last weekend there was a guy laying in a mess of his own blood near my apartment. turns out, he had stolen christmas trees from the vendor at one end of my street to sell to the vendor at the other, and the guys he stole from beat his face in with a baseball bat. not very holiday-spirit like on either side.
i on the other hand, have been getting into the holidays like i haven't in a long time. this year i am determined to have a disgustingly happy holiday season. i don't even mind that the sidewalks are almost unnavigable in some areas due to the tree vendors. so happy holidays ya'all.... hope you are gearing up for a fantastic hanukkah/christmas/kwanzaa/boxing day... whichever you celebrate! xoxo
