i have two sets of nieces... one set familial and one set honorary. while i love my sisters' girls to bits and think they are the most beautiful little ones on the planet, i am also quite fond of my honorary girls... marina's wees, sophia and natalie. today i went waaaay uptown to hang out with them in fort tryon park... it has been a while since i have seen my girls, but they always remember me. and love me. because i bring them cookies. much to marina's chagrin (see photo number three).
