the last major, major concert i went to was blur in hyde park, last summer. the last song of their encore was 'the universal.' there had been forecast for rain, but it never happened, and the sun set beautifully, leaving london aglow in purple and pink and stars. everyone was so happy and beautiful and singing with such abandon, that it was like... the 90's again... with brit-pop at it's height... this sunset in brooklyn reminded me of that night and of that song...
and you know, it really, really, really could happen.
