nordic models + common ground.

one of my favourite places to hang out in the city is scandinavia house... i stopped by this weekend to check out the Nordic Models + Common Ground exhibition, the first in a series of American Scandinavian Foundation centennial exhibitions. the show is totally awesome and i would highly recommend it to anyone who has time to stop by.

my favourite pieces included a book/record by NOW for architecture + Urbanism Oy, called 'urbanism in the house,' electronic poetry on the contemporary urban condition, and an installation by daniel rybakkan, simulating natural daylight on the gallery wall.

i also very much enjoyed the re-vamp of the elevator... kind of awesome.
