i would generally just post this on my stoked on it blog or my pinterest, but this blew my mind so much that i had to put it here. i went to see the muppets yesterday (it's cute, you should see it), and one of the previews was this movie coming out next august, paranorman. it was immediately awesome because the preview was set to donovan's season of the witch, which is a pretty sick song. then... it was just... ridiculous awesomeness... it is being produced by laika (stop motion... coraline), and the animation looks like... ridiculous. the visuals... the colour... it's beautiful. i literally sat on the edge of my seat for the whole preview. i cannot wait to see this movie... the plot from imdb: "a misunderstood boy who can speak with the dead, takes on ghosts, zombies and grown-ups to save his town from a centuries-old curse." yes.
