eataly.

today... finally, sunshine. and amy and i ventured to eataly. now, i am not one to believe the hype, and actually, i had read several unsavory reviews... so i went in with no expectations. and i was so pleasantly surprised... i loved it. loved it. it was was well designed, well organized, and everything looked deliciously beautiful. i was confused by the reviews of the people who had said eataly was... confusing. as far as i could see, everything was clearly marked and organized... there was even extensive information on origins/uses/whatnot of many of the products. and again, everything looked delicious. i am vegan and i was about ready to give it up for a taste of the freshly made, cheese filled pasta. (i didn't). we carefully explored every nook, coming to the conclusion that we would return for a meal very soon. i say batali, the two bastianichs, and farinetti got it exactly right.

ps. contrary to what others say, i think the name is cute.
